In a fun way, this small group facilitates the development of foundational social thinking and communication skills for individuals that have difficulties navigating day-to-day social situations by targeting the lagging skills that inhibit successful social interactions and the development of positive relationships.
Participants will engage in games, activities, and discussions while simultaneously developing social awareness and thinking skills in the areas of perspective taking, physical presence and social observation.
This group is supported by a Speech-Language Pathologist and may be covered by your Insurance or Extended Health Plan.
This group runs on August 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30 for 2019.
