This group is designed for individuals who find social situations and interactions with others challenging and works to develop the specific skills needed to actively participate in successful conversations. Through games, activities, and discussions, participants learn in detail about the different questions and comments we use in conversation and have multiple opportunities to practice these comments and questions while talking with their fellow group members. The development of these conversation skills is beneficial in helping participants build positive and successful relationships with those round them.
This group is supported by a Speech Language Pathologist and may be covered by your insurance or extended health plan.
