In a fun way, this small group facilitates the development of foundational social thinking and communication skills for individuals that have difficulties navigating day-to-day social situations by targeting the lagging skills that inhibit successful social interactions and the development of positive relationships.
Centred on areas identified by group interests (e.g., Pokémon, Anime, drawing, etc.). Participants will engage in their favourite games and activities while simultaneously developing social awareness and thinking skills in the areas of perspective taking, physical presence and social observation.
